Studio one

Our broadcast newsroom and live cross studio is managed in conjunction with our colleagues in External Relations. The studio enables national and international broadcasters, including SkyTV and ABC24, to cross live to interviews with University of Melbourne staff. For more details or to see the newsroom in action, contact the newsroom staff.

Studio two

Our dedicated online recording studio is located in the Alice Hoy building. It’s a facility where academics can record online lectures for MOOCs or the LMS, with full support available. The studio has a high definition Wacom tablet so presenters can make annotations on the screen, making videos more interactive and interesting. There’s also an autocue prompter for presenters who are more comfortable reading from a script.

To make an enquiry about studio two, use the booking form. The Learning Environments showcase includes videos made in the studio.
