Creating effective video assessment
This is a Designing for learning with technology workshop presented by Learning Environments open to University of Melbourne staff only.
About this session
In this webinar we will look at how you can create effective student-generated video assessments that allow students to focus on the tasks and not the medium or the technology used to complete them. At the end of the webinar participants will be split into break out rooms where you will have the opportunity to ask questions to a learning designer.
The recommendations presented will fall into four broad themes:
- How to ensure alignment of tasks to outcomes it maintained
- How to find and share technological support and resources
- How to provide clear guidelines for the assessment in the form of effective assessment brief
- How to use basic change management principles to assist staff and students to transition to the new assessment format.
