eText is live

Using electronic textbooks (eTexts) improves the access to, and affordability of, learning materials for students. Students are able to purchase prescribed texts for their subject in an electronic format.

After a successful trial of eTexts last year, The University of Melbourne is now working with the eText platform provider, VitalSource. As of Semester 1, 2018, we have approximately 30 subjects in the LMS using VitalSource, meaning an outreach to over 7000 students who are now able to purchase eTexts for use in their subjects.

If you are interested in using eTexts in your subject for 2018, please contact us by logging a support request.
