Reminder: LMS links to Campus Pack journals, blogs, podcasts and wikis will not function after 6 December

A reminder to subject coordinators and community leaders that have been using Campus Pack Journals, Blogs, Podcasts and Wikis:

After the LMS maintenance work on the 5-6 December all links to Campus Pack tools will no longer function.

As per our previous correspondence over the last 12 months, these tools are now retiring.

Should you wish to keep the data associated with your Journal, Blog, Podcast or Wiki, you can download an export of your Campus Pack data before Monday 5 December.

For subject level versions of Campus Pack tools:

  1. Go into the tool
  2. Click on: Settings >> Export
  3. Select the type of export you wish; we recommend a single webpage
  4. The export will take a few minutes to generate
  5. A downloadable zip file will be available under: Settings >> Export

For group or individual versions of Campus Pack tools:

  1. Go into the tool
  2. Click on the Cog symbol (Configuration Menu) >> Export
  3. Select the type of export you wish; we recommend a single web page
  4. The export will take a few minutes to generate
  5. A downloadable zip file will be available under: Cog symbol (Configuration Menu)>> Export

Exports can be either a single web page or a stand alone website. For a single web page the zip file contains one index.html file containing all the text from all the blogs, journals, podcasts posts or wiki pages. For a stand alone website the zip file contains an html page for each post or wiki page. In the zip file there is also an attach folder which will have all the images, file attachments and podcasts in the posts or wiki pages.

If you want to discuss your transition to the new tools or taking a backup of Campus Pack tools please contact us via our helpdesk request form.
