Peer-led virtual drop-in sessions and live webinars for your students

The Student IT team is offering students the opportunity to get setup and gain confidence using the technologies required for their online exams this semester. We encourage staff to share the details of these new support services with your students in the lead up to Semester 2 exams.

Live Webinars on Exam Technologies

Student IT will host a series of live webinars in the lead up to Semester 2 exams detailing how each online exam technology works and offering tips and tricks for students to avoid technical difficulties. The webinars offer the opportunity for Q&A and recordings will be uploaded online for students to refer back to.

Date: From Wednesday 21st October to Wednesday 28th October

Time: Live at 3pm

Where: Zoom Webinar (registration links will be made available on student-facing exam pages and Student IT website)

Virtual Drop-in Sessions

Student IT will run virtual drop-in sessions held via Zoom for students to raise any questions or IT issues with a Student IT staff member.

The sessions are expected to be particularly helpful for students wishing to receive technical support in relation to preparing for their upcoming online exams, e.g. testing their Zoom audio and video setup.

Date:  Monday 19th October – Thursday 5th November.

Time: 10am – 2pm
