LMS and VMS review: update

A final decision following the tender process for the University's new LMS is still underway. Therefore, we do not expect an announcement to be made in late October as originally communicated.

In the meantime, the project team is continuing to explore the options for a video management system (VMS) for the University, and has been in touch with Faculty and department representatives to gather feedback on capacity requirements. A number of representatives have also been asked to complete a survey about their department/faculty's current digital media use. All feedback received will be collated to give the project team an understanding of storage, usage and growth requirements for the VMS.

An announcement about the VMS will likely be made in conjunction with the LMS decision. Further information and an updated ETA will be provided as this information comes to hand. For details and updates in the meantime, please see the LMS Review project webpage.
