Learning Environments and FlexAP

The Flexible Academic Programming (FlexAP) project is a five-year University-wide program that has been in planning for many years and is now underway.

Learning Environments will be leading the support of three of the eight activity streams of FlexAP as follows:

  1. Educational video stream
  2. Online subject stream
  3. Digital assessment stream

For the educational video stream, Learning Environments has commenced conversations with faculties regarding subjects with over 500 students that have been nominated for this stream. Video design and production will begin in April for eight of the 75 subjects we will be assisting over the next three years.

The online subject stream has received nominations for candidate subjects via the recent Learning and Teaching Initiative (LTI) round. Further rounds will be available over the next five years. The current nominations are now to be reviewed by a selection committee chaired by the Provost, and Learning Environments will commence work with the successful applicants once they have been advised.

Learning Environments will also support other streams as needed, particularly the assessment reform and +300 subjects streams.

A FlexAP Information session for all staff is being held on 29 March 1-2pm. More details here.
