Designing your Canvas subject

After the experience of teaching online this year, many of us are thinking about how we might reorganise our LMS subject sites, resources and activities to best support student learning. A new module 'Designing your subject' in the 'Canvas: Learn at your own pace' community offers some advice on how to design your Canvas subject. The new module provides information on:

  • How to  effectively structure your modules and pages, including the home page and subject overview
  • How to present learning resources and activities that apply the TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) framework (guidelines for the development of online components of subjects)
  • .. and more!

If you’re ready to give your LMS subject a spring spruce-up, you can now get some tips from this new module.
