'Create a Subject' challenge

The Create a Subject Challenge (CSC), funded by an MDHS LTI seed grant, is being conducted by the School of Biomedical Sciences to provide an opportunity for students to propose ideas for a subject and work together with teaching academics to make it a reality. We have received many subject proposals which are now shortlisted for online voting by the University community.

As this project aims to facilitate student-staff collaboration, University staff are encouraged to participate and vote for their favourite subject ideas. Voting closes on Friday 10 July.

Finalists from this voting process will pitch their idea to a judging panel comprising of students and staff. You can also register your interest for the final online event on Monday 20 July. Students of the winning idea will then work with teaching academics to develop their ideas further into a subject proposal for consideration by the Academic Board.

Review the subject ideas and vote here.
