Reusing essential guest Lecture Capture recordings

If you have recordings of a guest lecturer or a particularly useful past resource from a previous teaching period you can add them to your current LMS subject.

You may find it advantageous and wish to edit the recording by trimming the beginning and end to remove any elements that are not relevant to the guest lecture presentation or part of the presentation you wish to reuse for your current class.

We strongly recommend these steps for copying and using past Lecture Capture recordings are limited to guest lecture type content, particular past special content or events and other content that cannot be easily reproduced in our current work settings.

Carefully consider reusing past Lecture Capture recordings. Following Semester 1, 2020 the University received strong student feedback against this practice.
